Welcome to the new edition of the UTR Sports Costa Blanca 2026 Tennis Circuit, an 11-month competition that combines sporting excellence with the UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) ranking system. A unique opportunity to compete at the highest level and improve your international ranking.

2026 Tournament Calendar

PHASE 1 – SINGLES

Tournament format

• All brackets in each category will be in Round-Robin format, with at least two matches played within each bracket and a final bracket qualifying the best or two best players from each Round-Robin bracket.
• Each draw will have a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 16 per category.

Match format

• All matches will be played as best of 3 sets to 4 games with a super tiebreak in the third set in the event of a tie.
• The semi-finals and finals will be played as best of 3 sets with a 4-game tiebreak.
• If necessary, the referee may schedule matches under artificial lighting.
• The junior categories will play on hard courts. The senior categories will play on clay courts.

Categories

• We offer competition in men’s and women’s categories.
• Mixed junior categories (-16) and senior men’s and women’s or mixed categories (+16)
• Different levels from 1 to +9 in both categories. (1-3, 3-6, 6-9…)

Scoring system:

• Double scoring system.
• UTR score: Varies according to category and player rating.
• Internal score: Points system for the Race to the Masters.

Registration Process

• Registrations are managed online through our website.
  The registration fee for any category and in all tournaments will be €25 (IQL players €20).
• Payment of the registration fee will be made at the time of registration by bank transfer on our website, following the registration steps.
• Registrants will receive a confirmation email after payment of the registration fee.
• In the event of any issues with the registration or payment process, interested players can contact us at [email protected], indicating their name, rating, and tournament in question along with their query.
• Registration will close at 11 p.m. on the Tuesday before the start of the tournament.
• Once the registration period has closed, the provisional list of accepted players will be published for 24 hours in order to correct any possible errors. Once this period has passed, the draw will take place.
• Players who reach the finals are required to wait for the closing ceremony, otherwise they will not receive their prize or trophy.
• The registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances except in cases of force majeure, which will be assessed by the club and the organization.
• The organization reserves the right to refuse registration of players.

The organization reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of participants in each of the final rounds or round robins, depending on the number of entries in each event. Any changes to the rules will be announced or published prior to the draw on each tournament’s website.

Seeding and ranking

Seeds will be determined by the UTR rating in effect at the time of the draw.

Prizes and trophies

• Players registered for each tournament will receive a welcome pack.
• The champions and finalists of each tournament will receive a trophy and medal.
• The champions of the Masters will receive a contract from TECNIFIBRE.

Qualification and Requirements for the Costa Blanca Circuit Masters UTR Sports

• To be eligible to compete in the Costa Blanca Circuit Masters, players must have competed in at least two of the circuit’s individual tournaments.
• In the event of a tie between several players for qualification for the Masters, the following criteria will apply.
• The top 8 players in each category in the COSTA BLANCA Circuit ranking will qualify to play in the MASTERS.

In the event of a tie between several players for entry into the Masters, the following criteria will be applied:

• Number of tournaments played
• Highest rounds reached
• Draw

Tiebreaker criteria:

• Highest round reached
• Number of tournaments played
• Draw

• The competition runs for 11 months.
